1. Intermediate / Senior Solicitor

The Intermediate / Senior  Solicitor will provide strategic advice and direction to a wide array of clients involved in business and commercial transactions, both simple and complex, and may include

  • corporate reorganizations
  • mergers and acquisitions
  • commercial and residential purchases
  • sales, and mortgages
  • commercial leasing
  • construction
  • shareholder and joint venture agreements
  • equity financing
  • franchises

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Alberta, and will possess the following competencies:

  • an understanding of commerce and of business issues
  • strength of character and the ability to negotiate firmly, yet in a friendly and ethical manner, with other counsel
  • commitment to working within a team environment with shared team goals
  • ability to identify with clients and build strong relationships of trust and respect
  • effective communication and persuasion skills, both oral and written
  • exceptional commercial agreement drafting skills
  • honesty, integrity and clear professionalism
  • desire to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

2. Intermediate / Senior Litigation Lawyer

The Intermediate / Senior Litigation Lawyer will provide strategic litigation and mediation services to a wide array of clients involved in business and commercial disputes, both simple and complex, and may include

  • wrongful dismissals
  • construction litigation
  • shareholder disputes
  • contract claims
  • collections

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Alberta, and will possess the following competencies:

  • an understanding of commerce and of business issues
  • strength of character and the ability to deal firmly, yet in a friendly and ethical manner, with other counsel
  • ability to identify with clients and build strong relationships of trust and respect
  • commitment to working within a team environment with shared team goals
  • effective communication and persuasion skills, both oral and written
  • good file organization and administration, including use of litigation and other software
  • absolute honesty, integrity and professionalism.
